About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our team. The Paraplanner will work closely with our financial planners and advisors to provide comprehensive financial advice to clients. This role will involve gathering and analyzing client data, researching investment products, preparing financial plans, assisting with compliance, and communicating with clients.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Industry-specific certifications, such as the Diploma of Financial Planning or the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Capable of writing complex SOA's and ROA's
Proficiency with financial planning software such as, Xplan, Platform+ or Associated industry software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Job Description
Preparation of complex and strategic SOA's, Conduct research, financial modelling and projections
Ensure that all financial plans and recommendations comply with relevant laws and regulations
Provide administrative and technical support to the financial advisers
Assist with client communication, including preparing reports, responding to client inquiries, and scheduling meetings
Keep up-to-date with financial products, services, and industry developments to support ongoing learning and development
Other ad hoc duties as required
